Hi! I’m Laura. Welcome to my little piece of the internet. I’m a proud Army wife to Jarrod, and together we have three children.

I guess you could say we live a pretty simple life. I worked retail pharmacy for years before we started our family, but currently homeschool our kids and generate some income as a Beautycounter consultant and through my clothing boutique, Gleam Boutique.

I’ve been documenting our lives through blogging since we were newlyweds and Jarrod was deployed (our second deployment by that point). While my blogging has slowed a lot as kids were added to the picture, I still enjoy this space.

You’ll stumble upon bits and pieces on my blog and social media spaces about autoimmunity and living healthy. After our daughter Tenley was born, I began having a number of symptoms that led me to learning I had autoimmune issues (thyroid related). Since 2016, I’ve been navigating that. You can find posts via the search bar if you’re interested.

Things I love: spending time with friends and family, iced lattes, crafting, photography, reading, shopping, attending concerts, nutrition and fitness, and quiet time (said like a true mom of three little ones).
